HOW TO WRITE AN EFFECTIVE PRESS RELEASE

RUNNING TO BE YOUR U.S. CANDIDATE FOR HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE, CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE, I DECIDED THAT I WILL REMAIN ON A LOW-BUDGET, SHOE-STRING BUDGET. WITH MODERN TECHNOLOGY NOWAWAYS, AND SOCIAL- MEDIA, IT IS UNNCESSSARY TO SPEND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. ON A BUDGET LESS THAN $5000, I WAS ABLE TO RUN AND CAMPAIGN FOR MAYOR, AND FOR CONGRESS. AND THIS BUDGET INCLUDED AN ISLAND VACATION TOUR FOR MY FAMILY OF 3 TO THE OUTER ISLANDS, KAUAI, AND BIG ISLAND, CAMPAIGN BANNERS, STICKERS, AND SIGNS. I SPENT ABOUT $50 ON MY HAIR FOR THE PAST YEAR, SINCE I AM GROWING MY HAIR OUT, AND ONLY NEED A TRIM AND CUT OF MY BANGS WHICH I DO MYSELF. I ALSO DO MY OWN HAIR AND MAKE UP.

I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO WRITE AN EFFECTIVE PRESS RELEASE. I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO CAMPAIGN ON A BUDGET OF LESS THAN $5000 AND SUCCESSFULLY WIN A CONGRESSIONAL SEAT AT THE WHITE HOUSE!! IF YOU HAVE A PASSION, ANYONE CAN RUN FOR CONGRESS. THE YOUNGER THE BETTER!! AND THE MORE AMERICAN YOU ARE, EVEN BETTER!

WRITING AN EFFECTIVE PRESS RELEASE:

A SIMPLE HEAD SHOT, PHOTO OF YOURSELF, TITLE, 1ST PARAGRAPH, 2ND PARAGRAPH. THEY WANT NEWS, CONTROVERY, DRAMA.
HERE IS A SAMPLE THAT MADE IT TO THE PRESS.

ONE MORE THING: YOUR EMAIL LIST. YOU HAVE TO GENERATE YOUR OWN, THIS IS THE HARDEST PART, AND IT IS TIME CONSUMING. I USED A LIST THAT LISTED ALL THE NEWS MEDIA AND SOURCES FOR EACH STATE. I THEN WENT TO THEIR WEBSITE, AND LOOKED FOR THEIR EMAIL FOR PRESS RELEASE. THIS PART ENTAILS PATIENCE, BUT YOU WILL PERSONALIZE YOUR OWN LIST.
YOU MUST PUT THESE EMAILS INTO A WORD PROGRAM SEPARATED BY A SEMI-COLON. THIS WAY, YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE INTO YOUR EMAIL PROGRAM EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO MAKE A STATEMENT. One last thing, you want to use BIG Caps, and normal. And one last important thing, Copy and paste into the BCC part of your Email program. You don't want the reporters to know and see your list of names. That's just private. This list is only some of the local Hawaii emails.  I have reached out nationally, New York, California, Washington, Texas, Florida, all over the United States, if you really want to be heard, make sure your email list is up to date, accurate as much as possible. Some times, I had to call and get their email address. So that's pretty much it. Good luck, and I hope to see you on the press!!
